Packaging competition 2018

Packaging sells!

It's not the whole truth, but we can all agree that packaging is an important part of a product. Therefore, during the Open Finnish Championship in Food craftsmanship 2018, a packaging competition for artisanal food products will also be arranged. The contest is a standalone competition with a simple concept. All visitors can vote for their favourite. The product with the most votes wins. 

Artisanal food companies are eligible to enter a product in the competition. All products compete in the same class. On the voting form there is also space to write why a product's packaging is particularly appealing. The comments will be given to the participants, but there are no guarantees that all packages will receive an individual comment.

The contest entries will be on show in Novia's main building and voting is open from Thursday 22 March at 09:00 to Friday 23 March at 13:00.

The award ceremony takes place at the same time as the award ceremony for the Finnish Open Championships in Food Craftsmanship on Friday 23 March at 18:00 in Raseborg.

The packaging competition has its own registration and own product submission
Sign up for the packaging contest via the website by 28 February 2018. The participation fee is 30 €. Along with the notification of entry, the name, type, weight or volume of the product and its recommended storage temperature should be specified.

The submission will take place on Wednesday 21 March from 13:00 to 20:00.  at the info point in Novia's main building (Raaseporintie 9, Tammisaari). 

A complete product with its packaging and details should be submitted.
