The Society for Genuine Finnish Cider
The Society for Genuine Finnish Cider (Suomalaisen Aidon Siiderin Seura) exists to support the production of cider made with Finnish apple juice. True Finnish cider is made from fresh apple juice, avoids additives and uses natural fermentation processes. The company's intention is to promote the production and availability of genuine Finnish cider through providing information on its production and encouraging the availability of Finnish apples to cider producers. The company was founded in 2017.
The presentation will be given by Petri Halmetoja, who was involved in setting up the society and runs the Kuura Cider company in Fiskars. The presentation will be held in Finnish.
