Is it profitable to be a local food entrepreneur?
The demand and interest for the local food is increasing in Finland, like in many other countries. Similarly, there is increasing group of farmers and other entrepreneurs marketing their products as local food. Local food is mostly linked to the selling products directly from the farm. But, there are also many other distribution channels like new forms of direct selling. Lately, especially forms like online stores and selling through social media platforms have become popular.
