We are launching Alumni of the Year!

Novia University of Applied Sciences is proud to launch Alumni of the Year – a brand new award that recognizes an alumni who has made outstanding contributions in their professional field or through their community involvement.

Criteria for Alumni of the Year

The alumni is a person who is driven in their industry or engaged in society. The alumni has kept in touch with the university after graduation and participated in alumni activities, development of the university or in other ways supported and marketed Novia.

Who can nominate?

Nominations for Alumni of the Year can be made by anyone – alumni, staff, students, partners and friends.

Who appoints the Alumni of the Year?

The decision on who is awarded the Alumni of the Year award is made by Novia's President, based on a proposal from a nomination committee consisting of the deans of each faculty, vice president, head of communications and the alumni coordinator.

The alumni of the year will be presented in the spring of 2025. The announcement will be made via press releases and social media.
