RDI Talks: “Sustainable development in Maritime Education & Training”

In this month’s FUI-Fika/ RDI Talks we will learn more on how UN’s Sustainable Development Goals can be incorporated in education. Magnus Winberg, Novia UAS, gives examples on sustainable development in Martime Education and training.

Magnus Winberg is an experienced maritime specialist, Master Mariner. Winberg has special knowledge in Ice navigation and operations, Sustainable maritime operations according to IMO, interpretation of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), pilotage training and evaluation and Azipod training.

During the RDI Talks Winberg gives examples from how Aboa Mare have introduced sustainability in training and education.

RDI Talks is a monthly recurring webinar, where Novia invites collaborators and other guests to discuss current themes related to research, development and innovation. The theme of the falls webinars is Sustainable development. RDI Talks is part of the Year of research-based knowledge 2021.
