Sustainable Communities and Businesses
Projects and development within the Research Area Sustainable Communities and Businesses takes place at the Faculty of Business. Within the faculty there is a long history of working solution-centered and responding with an entrepreneurial mindset to the challenges of business life.
We integrate missions from companies and organizations so that students can work on projects in service design, market analysis, business development and internationalization issues, and logistics, among others. Some of the studies are carried out within the students' own collaborative teams. We also build digital business development methods where students help businesses improve the digital environment.
A link between theory and practice
We cooperate with Nordic organisations spearheading methodological development in entrepreneurship and leadership. Our methods of business development, pedagogy, and project work are chosen in order to support the link between theoretical understanding and practical application, as well as to develop initiative skills, making our students particularly sought after in the labour market.
Our activities:
- Circular economy
- We are building a green digital sector
- Innovation processes for the public sector
- Sustainability in the enterprise sector
