Novia UAS will issue electronically signed degree certificates

In January 2021, Novia UAS will be one of the first two universities in Finland to issue electronically signed degree certificates to those who receive their degree. The degree certificates are signed electronically by the President and are distributed to the examinees in electronic form. In addition, the examinees receive a paper copy of the electronically signed degree certificate. When the degree certificate is given in electronic form, it can easily be attached to e.g. application for work or study place in various electronic systems. The degree can be verified electronically so that the recipient can check that the degree certificate is genuine and has not been edited after signing.

The students who apply for a degree certificate no later than 22 January 2021 are contacted separately by Student Services with more information.
