GRAPHIC DESIGN
Second year
Graphic Design Tools 2 - 3 ECTS
CONTENT OF THE STUDY UNIT: Adobe CC or equivalent software.
COMPETENCE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: The student has acquired a more in-depth knowledge of computer-based tools used by a graphic designer, has acquired theoretical and practical knowledge of the principles of design, is able to orally and visually present his/her work
Graphic Production 1, 3 ECTS
CONTENT OF THE STUDY UNIT: Working with project, from planning to execution.
COMPETENCE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: The student has developed professional skills in one, supposed or real, customer-oriented working relationship, is able to create a timetable for the work and take the project forward, is able to justify his/her solutions and decisions, is able to present his/her work professionally, is able to produce material alone or in group for a project, has the ability to critically evaluate their own work and its impact on the environment, climate and society, has the ability to reflect on their own work in terms of accessibility, strives towards a sustainable design industry through critically evaluating their own work, is able to ensure sustainable patterns of consumption and production in their own work.
Drawing 2, 3 ECTS
CONTENT OF THE STUDY UNIT: Basic drawing and perspective drawing.
COMPETENCE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: The student has basic knowledge of perspective drawing, is able to put up goals for hers/his visual work and complete projects.
Web design 1, 3 ECTS
CONTENT OF THE STUDY UNIT: Lectures and assignments in web design and web publishing.
COMPETENCE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: The student understands the basic concepts of web design, is familiar with HTML and CSS, is able to create a simple web page on the platform presented, has the ability to reflect on their own work in terms of accessibility, strives towards a sustainable design industry through critically evaluating their own work, understands the possibilities inherent in digital infrastructure, and know how to work with them.
Information Design, 3 ECTS
CONTENT OF THE STUDY UNIT: Lecture and assignments in understanding data and data visualization.
COMPETENCE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: The student understands the basic concepts within the field of Graphic Design, is able to analyze data and transform it into a visual form, is able to present the data in an efficient and attractive way, has the ability to critically evaluate their own work and its impact on the environment, climate and society, has the ability to reflect on their own work in terms of accessibility, is able to determine that their own work is up to current standards in terms of equality, strives towards a sustainable design industry through critically evaluating their own work, understands the possibilities inherent in digital infrastructure, and know how to work with them.
Third year
Illustration, 3 ECTS
CONTENT OF THE STUDY UNIT: Working with different techniques for illustration. From text to illustration.
COMPETENCE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: The student knows the key techniques in illustration, can realize illustrationfor various media, can analyze a textual material for illustration work.

COMPETENCE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: The student knows the basic principles of a visual identity and understand their importance in the construction of a visual identity, is able to manage a project for the development of a visual identity.

CONTENT OF THE STUDY UNIT: Lectures and assignments within the field of book design and book production.
COMPETENCE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: The student is able to work with multipage documents, understands the basic concepts of the book's anatomy, is able to independently plan and make a book under a given theme or a theme of her/his own choice, has the ability to critically evaluate their own work and its impact on the environment, climate and society, has the ability to reflect on their own work in terms of accessibility, strives towards a sustainable design industry through critically evaluating their own work, is able to ensure sustainable patterns of consumption and production in their own work.
Typography 2, 3 ECTS
CONTENT OF THE STUDY UNIT: Lectures and assignments within the field of graphic design and typography.
COMPETENCE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: The student understands the difference between commercial typography and creative typography and master these, understands the conventions in the field and is able to break them, works with text in a visually engaging way.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Third year
Image editing 3, 3 ECTS
CONTENT OF THE STUDY UNIT: Professional digital image processing, workshops, lectures, individual studies and assignments.
COMPETENCE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: By the end of the course, the student has the image editing skills that are necessary in order to complete their degree project, works independently with the whole digital post-production process, is familiar and experienced with high-quality digital printing, the printing press, and web publication, has independent problem solving skills and the ability to find information about image editing, has acquired extensive skills as specified in their own individual course plan and suitable for their own image editing needs
Documentary Photography 2, 3 ECTS
CONTENT OF THE STUDY UNIT: Lectures/input on documentary visual storytelling, tutoring, individual studies and discussions. Presentations of current documentary photography projects that deal with questions of sustainability
COMPETENCE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: By the end of the course, the student - works independently produce a significant work of documnetary visual storytelling, is familiar with different platforms and publication channels for contemporary documentary photography, knows how to use documentary photography to increase awareness about questions of sustainability and equality.
Photographic Expression 6, 3 ECTS
CONTENT OF THE STUDY UNIT: Students produce a larger series of images that are presented and analyzed.
COMPETENCE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: By the end of the course, the student is expected to be able to work independently and carry out a bigger visual project, be able to find effective working methods that are suitable for independent work, be able to discuss their own work as well as the work of others, be able to document their work process (in writing).
By the end of the course, the student is also expected to demonstrate maturity and the ability to handle responsibility, be able to produce a significant body of work, be able to master working independently, be able to work under virtual supervision, be able to handle the economic aspects of a project.
INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE
Second year
Presentation Portfolio 1, 3 ECTS
CONTENT OF THE STUDY UNIT: Designing and implementing of a portfolio.
COMPETENCE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: The student is able to present her/his own ideas and creation, is able to listen to others and present written, oral and visual messages by means of various communication methods.
Interior Textiles 1, 3 ECTS
CONTENT OF THE STUDY UNIT: The basics of interior textiles.
COMPETENCE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: The student is familiar with various textile materials, their applications and understands the working procedure in planning a room, understands the working procedure in planning a room with texAles, is able to apply planning methods and tools in this branch, has deepened their knowledge about the environmental impact of texAles, understands the responsibility of the designer when it comes to choice of material, has an awareness of sustainable consumption and production and know how to find out more.
AutoCAD 1, 3 ECTS

CONTENT OF THE STUDY UNIT: The basics of Auto CAD software and presentation techniques.
COMPETENCE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: After successfully completing the course, the student should understand the basics of this data program and adapt skills in own field of study, have a mastery of visual presentation methods which serve as a component in the planning process.

CONTENT OF THE STUDY UNIT: Specialization in SketchUp Pro software and presentation techniques.
COMPETENCE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: The student can master, and effectively apply, this data program to achieve a specific objective, is able able to make independent use of this tool, is able to visualize own ideas and products for the producer
FINE ARTS

Sculpture, 12 ECTS
CONTENT OF THE STUDY UNIT: Lectures, group assignments, artistic assignments connected to the topic, as well as independent work. Spatial awareness in an exhibition context.
COMPETENCE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: After completing this course, the student is expected to recognize the fields of knowledge that surround sculpture, such as composition, shape and space, be able to make use of figurative, abstract and conceptual starting points for sculpture, be part of the discourse on sculpture in different situations in their own field, be able to work both individually and as part of a group, choose an approach to sculpture that takes responsibility and sustainable development into account, recognize the different purposes, materials, techniques and tools of sculpture, as well as occupational safety in theory and practice.
Third year
Photographic Expression, 3 ECTS
CONTENT OF THE STUDY UNIT: We deepen the personal expression through photography, tutoring and discussion.
COMPETENCE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: The student understands the need for a personal expression, has start their development towards an identity as a photographer, photo artist, or some other creative role, knows how to plan a simple visual project, is able to verbalize ideas and talk about the finished image in a simple way
Painting 2, 3 ECTS
CONTENT OF THE STUDY UNIT: Course/workshop about painting
COMPETENCE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: The student categorizes specific components in artistic work, e.g. by means of specific paintings, specific sculptures, short videos or a contribution from a certain organization. The student promotes the field of art and exhibits in public the results of own paintings, establishes observations and interpretations of surroundings and work on the results of various concept types as well as formal results, establishes painting as a phenomenon, its traditions and prevailing contemporary attributes, applies methods for visual production of colour, form, place and time.
Sculpture 2, 3 ECTS
CONTENT OF THE STUDY UNIT: Course/workshop about sculpture work
COMPETENCE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: The student participates in discussions about various topics in own field of study, works actively and individually and collectively (e.g. in dynamic group projects). The student discerns the important developments in sculpting, establishes an own style of expression in sculpting for lasting development, be able to choose materials and methods that are ecologically and ethically sustainable, appreciates the aims, materials, techniques, tools and industrial welfare in terms of sculpting in theory and in practice
Printmaking 2, 3 ECTS
CONTENT OF THE STUDY UNIT: Course/workshop about working with artistic printmaking
COMPETENCE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: The student is expected to possess the skills to actively keep up with this phenomenon within art, proposes and analyzes at own initiative own artistic processes. The student is expected to gauge and master own artistic processes, is expected to study own environment critically and constructively, categorizes art from local, national and international perspectives, is expected to structure, plan and present own complete dissertation project.
Atelje studies 4, 6 ECTS

COMPETENCE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: The student establishes a creative, artistic method of working in terms of place selection and time availability, realizes that art studies constitute a process of maturity and transformation, evaluates a supervision process, interprets and analyze surroundings critically and constructively, prepares for individual supervision and tutorial session.
