The student: - masters branch specific communication situations - can participate in and work with the organisational communication, and understands the importance of communication in relation to an organisation’s success - is able to write and present key documents in professional English, is aware of style differences and can use different styles in communication - can identify the main points in various articles, texts and news related to his/her own professional field
Marketing project 1, 3 ECTS
The student:
-is able to plan, implement and assess a marketing project of his/her own choice.
-is able to collaborate with an external employer and keep her/him up to date about the development of the project.
-is able to apply the right theory to the project.
-is able to create a budget for a project and present the income statements
Building and Developing Brands, 5 ECTS
The student:
- understands what a brand and branding is
- knows how to use theoretical models and processes for brand building
- knows how to develop a brand based on metrics and analysis
- manages the basics of brand communication
- can consider sustainability in brand building
- is familiar with IPR issues related to branding
Swedish for foreigners, 3 ECTS (physical or virtual course)
The basics of the Swedish language
Sales Skills and Management, 5 ECTS
The student:
- knows the fundamentals of B2B and B2C sales
- is familiar with sales methods and techniques
- is able to utilize customer segmentation from a sales perspective
- understands how to plan and manage sales processes
Methods of Research and Development, 3 ECTS
The student:
- understands and can apply the different stages of the research process
- can use appropriate research methods in development work
- can critically select sources and learn how to write scientific text
- can draw up a research plan
Intercultural Communication for Global Business, 5 ECTS
The aim of the course is for students to gain insights regarding their own culture/s and develop practical skills useful in intercultural situations. Throughout the course each student will:
• explore oneself as a cultural entity
• gain awareness and understanding of the implications of culture
• acquire skills and practice in dealing with intercultural situations in business
Developing a Global Mindset – Foundations of Global Competence, 3 ECTS
The student:
- grasps the fundamental concepts of global competence and its importance in today’s world.
- recognizes key dimensions of culture and develop central intercultural communication skills.
- develops a global mindset by exploring some cultural and global perspectives.
Self-directed Teams in Multicultural Environments, 5 ECTS
The student
- Understands and applies coaching to support individual and group performance in self-managing teams
- Can use a facilitating approach to facilitate effective meetings, collaboration, and decision-making in multicultural teams.
- Develops a sustainable leadership perspective by considering economic, social, and environmental factors in leadership decisions.
- Can manage diversity and promote inclusion by creating an environment where different perspectives and experiences are welcomed and valued.
- Develops and promotes an entrepreneurial approach within the team by encouraging initiative, innovation, and problem-solving.
Spring semester 2026

Financing and Financial Markets, 5 ECTS
The student:
-understands the key elements of financial markets
- knows how to raise capital for a company
- knows the principles of investments in financial instruments
- know sustainable financing alternatives
Swedish for foreigners, 3 ECTS (physical or virtual course)
The basics of the Swedish language
Service Design, 5 ECTS
The student:
- is able to create offers related to service design as well as develop services with a multiprofessional approach.
- realizes the connection between service design, development of business- and activities.
- understands how service design can produce added value to the customer.
- is familiar with service design methods and is able to use them in his/her work in an innovative and creative manner.
Key Account Management and Customer Excellence, 5 ECTS
The student:
- is familiar with the key principles of KAM
- understands the principles of developing and building strong relationships and loyalty between companies
- recognizes the potential and benefits of nurturing the existing customer base
- can identify methods and approaches for upselling and cross-selling
Upscaling and International Expansion, 5 ECTS
The student:
- understands the principles of enabling scalable business operations
- can identify and analyze general approaches for international expansion
- knows marketing in an international business environment
- is familiar with financing alternativies for scalable and international expansion
- is able to consider different expansion alternatives from a sustainability perspective
Methods of Research and Development, 3 ECTS
The student:
- understands and can apply the different stages of the research process

Strategy and Organizational Culture, 5 ECTS
The student:
- Can define and explain basic concepts in strategy, such as vision, mission, goals and strategic planning
- Can apply strategic thinking to various scenarios and business challenges
- Is able to identify and explain basic elements of organizational cultue, including values, norms and symbols
- Can identify and analyze different types of organizational cultures and their characteristics
- Understands the relationship between leadership, communication and organizational culture
- Understands the processes of creating and changing organizational culture
- Can evaluate strategies to promote an inclusive culture and manage cultural conflicts
- Develops the ability to reflect one's own organizational culture and how it affects one's own behavior and work performance
