Anna Karin Almen

Anna-Karin Almén 

Anna-Karin is currently a project leader and lecturer at the Faculty of Bioeconomy. She holds a Master´s degree and a PhD in environmental and marine biology from Åbo Akademi University. As a researcher, Anna-Karin has focused on the responses of plankton to rising carbon dioxide levels, warming, and eutrophication. She is also interested in changes in water quality in aquatic ecosystems and biodiversity, particularly in relation to climate change and human impact.
