Content: Remote Pilotage Services is a cutting-edge concept that allows pilots to guide
ships from shore using advanced technology and collaboration. The project aims
to develop and test a global standard for Remote Pilotage that can be applied
to both autonomous and manned ships. The project involves public and private
stakeholders from the maritime sector, including service providers, technology
developers, shipping companies, and research institutions. The project
contributes to a more efficient and sustainable maritime industry and enhances
Finland’s reputation as a leader in innovation.
