Smart Ostrobothnia Digital Industry 4.0 (SODI4.0)

About the project

The goal is to develop the competence in the region so that it corresponds to the competence need among the companies. This is done through application to plan, model, develop and build a robot cell containing a robot and a Flexible Material Warehouse System (FMS) that is integrated with automation into a functioning whole, as an example of how it can be done and applied in the industry. The robot cell shall be able to be booked and used remotely and visualized using VR technology. The process must be documented and openly shared with industry and companies with interest in developing the production processes with robot cells and a higher degree of automation, including e.g. IoT -technology, cameras and sensors, in a safe and cyber-secure operating environment.
