About the project
Nordic Music Creators (NMC) is a Interreg Aurora funded project.It is a dynamic network within the Aurora region, bringing together Yrkeshögskolan Novia, Musikmakarna - Songwriters Academy of Sweden, Yrkesakademin Österbotten, Lappfjärds Folkhögskola, and Kulturakademin Storuman.
With extensive connections across the regional, national, and global music industry, NMC offers a platform for professional development, innovation, and collaboration. The mission is to empower songwriters, musicians, producers, and entrepreneurs by providing opportunities for growth and visibility on the international market.
Through songwriting camps, seminars, webinars, and networking events, NMC fosters creativity, knowledge-sharing, and industry connections. Additionally, the project is focusing on key areas such as entrepreneurship in the creative industries, equality, health, and well-being in the music business.
By combining skills, expertise, and contacts, NMC aims to create a stronger, more connected music industry in the Aurora region and beyond. In the long term, contributing to business development and music export growth.
