About the project
The newly written/composed musical Nattexpressen is produced and performed in the spring of 2025 in the Schauman Hall in Jakobstad and at Norrlandsoperan in Umeå. The project is carried out as a Nordic collaboration between YH Novia and Musikalakademien vid Strömbäcks folkhögskola in Umeå. Workshops, team building and initial rehearsals take place throughout 2024 to end with regular rehearsal periods both in the Schauman hall and in Strömbäck.Project goal
A strengthened Nordic educational collaboration where music theatre as a whole is also developed and made available to young people throughout the Kvarken region.The concrete results expectations are of course a successful production of any newly written/composed musical, performed by young prospective musicians and stage artists in the quark region.
