About the project
The preliminary study intends to obtain a basis for creating a larger RDI project (research, development & innovation) to develop the competence content of the church music curriculum and the music and services of the parishes in the long term. This is to attract more Finnish-Swedish students to this career choice and to secure recruitment to church music services. Together with the Diocese of Borgå, the preliminary study intends to activate co-operation with music institutes, parishes and schools in order to offer organ lessons as an equal choice of instrument.
