Joint Course Unites Students from Ostrobothnia and Magallanes

Novia University of Applied Sciences is collaborating with the University of Magallanes in Chile. This partnership is evident at various levels and this autumn, it is materialising in a joint course titled “Sustainable Power from Ostrobothnia to Magallanes.” The course, running throughout the autumn, brings together 14 students from Magallanes and 35 students from Novia. 

The course content covers hydrogen ecosystems in the regions, an introduction to wind and solar energy, energy storage, and Power to X, which focuses on how sustainable energy can be repurposed into other products. The lecturers for the course include staff from both the University of Magallanes and Novia University of Applied Sciences
