Health Campus Turku prepares a new strategy
The Health Campus Turku aims to strengthen the network with a new strategy. In the beginning of this year, Health Campus Turku has welcomed two new employees, Development Director, MD, Leena Setälä and coordinator M.Sc. Mira Lehti.
The aim of collaboration is to develop the Health Campus Turku as a multidisciplinary international knowledge cluster in research and education related to medicine, health and wellbeing.
- The Health Campus cooperation has enormous potential, which is recognized by the partners in the network. The strategy work to be carried out during the spring will brighten up the common goals and outline the priorities for future activities, says Development Director Leena Setälä, who is in charge of the preparation of the strategy at the Health Campus.
The Health Campus Turku is Finland's largest multidisciplinary knowledge cluster in medicine, social and health care and technology, offering unique opportunities for education, research, innovation and business collaboration. The Health Campus Turku cooperation involves the Hospital District of Southwest Finland, the University of Turku, Åbo Akademi, Turku University of Applied Sciences, Novia University of Applied Sciences and Turku Science Park Oy.
- In practice, cooperation in research, education and innovation is promoted in the Health Campus management team and in the multidisciplinary working groups, which have wide expertise represented from all the above organisations,” says Mira Lehti, who coordinates the Health Campus collaboration.
