Join us for an informative breakfast event on the upcoming EU regulations for sustainability reporting!  
 
In the coming year, these regulations will extend to listed mid-size companies, with large corporations taking greater responsibility for their value chains. This means subcontractors will need to report on their environmental and social contributions.  

Local accounting firms will play a crucial role in facilitating this reporting and auditing sustainability reports.  
 
Novia’s research project is exploring the current state of preparedness in the Vasa region. Our aim is to discover the necessary competencies and ensure readiness for this new landscape in SMEs. In year 2023-2024, our research has concentrated on accounting businesses, but we aim at covering SMEs preparedness in other industries as well.
