-be able to take part in a multiprofessional team and create a natural caring relationship with the patient
-demonstrate respect for the patients integrity and autonomy
-demonstrate the ability to support the patient in the rehabilitation process
-understand the importance of aseptic working methods
-employ safe working methods
-be able to assess the patients caring needs, plan for interventions, implement nursing activities and demonstrate clinical nursing skills related to medical and surgical nursing, under supervision and with increasing independence
-be able to produce a written documentation of nursing care and the patients condition, under supervision and with increasing independence
-be able to verbally report nursing activities and the patients condition
-implement the underlying principles of medical and surgical nursing care at different wards
-obtain evidence-based knowledge about common diseases, and an understanding of the pharmacological treatment of the patient
-be able to perform safe drug administration under supervision |
