-obtain knowledge of the organization and management of mental health care on a national level, including the specific legislation concerning mental health care
-be able to identify common mental health disorders
-be able to use the nursing process as a framework for providing individualized care for patients with mental health disorders, and apply the specific features of mental health to all nursing contexts
-be able to prioritize the patients needs for nursing care, correctly act on these, and document them, based on the national classification system
-become familiar with medication used in mental health care
