Kursspecifika kompetenser: The student will:
-be able to identify essential nutrients and their dietary sources
-be able to describe normal digestion, absorption and the metabolism of vitamins, carbohydrates, proteins and lipids
-be able to identify factors influencing nutrition
-be able to identify nutritional variations throughout the life span
-become familiar with eating disorders and therapies related to these
-become familiar with diets related to illness and disease
-be able to guide patients concerning nutritional issues
-be able to apply evidence-based nursing care and the nursing process to nursing care related to nutritional problems
