Prerequisites:
Course-specific competence: The student is familiar with the service system and the interprofessional collaboration within maternal health care and is able to use different resource promoting operating models and methods
The student can plan, implement and assess the follow-up and care of the woman, fetus and family both during pregnancy and puerperium
The student recognizes high-risk pregnancies, complications during pregnancy, labour and puerperium and knows the process for referring a patient to further treatment
The student can provide both individual and group counselling about issues related to pregnancy, labour, puerperium, couple relation and family planning
