Prerequisites:
Module-specific competence: Control engineering basics, the principles of feedback control systems, implementing basic feedback control systems, and be able to select components and equipment for control systems
•Smart grid systems include distributed consumption and production of electricity Efficiency, reliability, usability, economics and sustainability are essential parameters
•Modelling theory and using simulation as a tool in designing energy systems. Differential equations, continuous linear systems, z-transform, hardware and simulations
•Basics in optimization theory and practical examples. Focus is on optimization of energy systems and their challenges.
•The courses consist of lectures and exercises as well as visits to local companies in this sector.
