Prerequisites:
Course-specific competence: The student shall understand the factors affecting the profitability of poultry production. He/she shall be familiar with the requirements poultry have on their production environment and animal care when engaged in egg and slaughter chicken production respectively. The student shall be able to optimize poultry production on the basis of current factors and requirements. He/she knows the factors which affect hatching and chicken breeding.
