Course-specific competence: The student will:
-be able to describe normal variations in cardiovascular assessment findings
-be able to identify health problems related to cardiovascular, lymphatic, vascular or haematologic disorders
- be able to use the nursing process as a framework for providing individualized care to patients with cardiovascular, haematological and vascular disorders
-know how to prioritize the patient’s needs for nursing care, act correctly on those, and document them based on the national guidelines and classification system
-be able to explain nursing implications for medication and other treatments prescribed for haematologic disorders
- be able to apply insights into altered haematological, cardiovascular and vascular functions onto all nursing contexts
