- has a general view of the most important content of the Christian doctrine from a historical, systematical and ecumenical perspective
- is able to explain and discuss the formation of Christian dogma in different times – from the early Christian church to the Lutheran orthodoxy – especially the basic features of the Lutheran theology
- is able to perceive what unites and separates the Christian churches in their interpretations of the Christian dogma as well as understand and reflect on what is unique in the Christian attitude towards life
