- knows and understands different cultivation and crop rotation systems and how the crop sequence affects the nutritional supply of crops, the need for plant protection and the long-term fertility of the soil
- can choose the appropriate crop rotation based on biological, ecological, technical, economic and social conditions, and can plan soil cultivation, fertilisation and plant protection so that these crop technology measures match the rotation
- can plan the crop rotation so as to reduce the risk of nutritional losses and the need for direct control measures against weeds, plant diseases and pests
- has the ability to make detailed plans and maps for farms supported by appropriate software (Web-WISU)
