Pre- task
Download the pre-task for the degree programme in Industrial Management and Engineering. Note! The pre-task has been updated 17 December 2020. Please make sure that you use the updated version.
Fill in the form and upload it as a pdf in the online application form. Deadline for uploading the pre-task in the online application form is 27 January 2021 at 3 pm Finnish time.
Pre-tasks uploaded after the deadline will not be considered. Only applicants with an approved pre-task will be invited to the entrance examination. The pre-task will be scored on the scale 0-40 points. You must obtain at least 20/40 points to be invited to the entrance examination.
Entrance Examination
The entrance examination will be held in the form of an e-interview 8-10 March 2021. The exact time of the e-interview will be included in the invitation. Only applicants with an approved pre-task will be invited to the entrance examination.
If you do not participate in the e-interview you cannot be admitted. The pre-task and the e-interview can give you a maximum of 100 points in total. You must obtain at least 40/100 points to be admitted. Both the pre-task and e-interview must be passed in order to be considered for admission according to the following:
- Pre-task: Maximum points are 40, minimum points required for an approved result is 20.
- E-interview: Maximum points 60, minimum points required for an approved result is 20.
Assessment criteria for the interview are:
- Relevant background and working experience
- Interest in and dedication to the subject
- Personal contribution to the study group
- Skills in English
In cases of equal admission scores, applicants will be ranked on the following grounds:
- e-interview and/or advance assignment
If these criteria fail to produce a difference between tied applicants, a university of applied sciences may choose to admit all or none of the equally ranked applicants, or the applicants will be automatically ranked by lots drawn by a computer system.
